Turbotax is not letting me E file my Califronia State taxes. TurboTax Desktop instructions says i am not able mail it in! My federal return I am able to mail in.

Nothing happens when I click "continue" to E-file my state return. (TurboTax Desktop)
So i printed out the form, but the instructions says i am unable to mail it in. What do i do?

You can only efile a state return at the same time you efile federal OR after the federal efile has been accepted. If you mail federal you also have to mail state.

Thank you, looks like TurboTax Deskstop needs to be more specific in the instructions. by these are "amended" Federal and State returns.

Whats the address to mail the state return?

Can the Federal/State fees be paid online instead of attaching a money order?

Oh are you filing amended returns? For 2025 or a prior year? Were your federal and state original returns efiled? Then you can efile the amended returns. But I don’t think the amended return will be ready until the end of the week.
