Turbotax 2024 Home and Business : Unable to delete Cap Asset Sales form

I found there are duplicate entries for my stock trading and went to "forms" to try to "delete form". This delete function is NOT working.  The form will reappear as "Cap Asset Sales (Not Done)".

I tried a second method by going to Personal > Personal Income > Investment Income > Stocks.... When I tried to delete the duplicate entries, all prior deleted entries reappear.

I think this is a turbotax bug. Pls advise.

In TurboTax Home and Business, I am able to remove a Capital Asset Sales Worksheet through the FORMS function.

Then I am able to re-enter or import the same capital asset information through the Step-by-Step process.

Smart Check returns no issues.

What was the nature of the stock trading that caused issues?  Was the IRS form 1099-B imported from a financial institution?  Was the information entered by hand?  Please advise.

Thanks for following up!

I have 3 accounts from Etrade Morgan Stanley.  Once the 1st account was avail, I imported into TT. The following week, the remaining 2 accounts were avail. Since I have prior imports, I tried a few methods of importing the remaining 2 accounts and existing 1 account. During these trial, I did not save at all. Once I confirmed the approach, I then officially import the remaining 2 accounts, checked and then save the file.

As my transactions are over 100, as advised in the community forum, I tried to delete these entries so that I can enter a single consolidated entry per section. Out of these entries, there are 4 transactions that I need to edit one by one. This is when I found that there are 5 copies of these transactions. And this is when I discovered issues.

I think you are saying that your tax return contains four transactions that have been duplicated as many as five times.

Are these transactions listed amongst other transactions on a large IRS form 1099-B?  Or have these entries been entered through the one by one method?

Are you now able to remove these through either the step by step method

or through the Forms method?
