Turbo Tax is referring me to Credit Karma to do my tax return. What's up w/that?

Why can't I file on Turbo Tax?

You can use TurboTax. Log out of everything and restart your browser. Then sign in to your account using this link. Did you file using Free File last year?

Well after about 5 attempts and opening several tabs I was able to start my return in Turbo Tax.

I used Turbo Tax for my 2019 and my 2020 taxes and was very satisfied., both with the format and the service. I'm not pleased this year, though.

Due to the Eviction Moratorium, my tenant hadn't paid rent for 10 months in 2020. This resulted me reporting a NEGATIVE number (LOSS) on Federal Schedule E and Schedule 1.

I was told that this would rollover until I had income to offset the negative amount. This year I have to report an ERAP payment which covers 15 months of no rent but NOWHERE am I able to offset the loss which I am supposedly able to carry over..

Super po'd .. and net net.. based on the info I did input earlier tonight I was told by the system that I had to pay thousands to the Federal Govt and about $100 to the STATE.
