In the military income adjustments, do you input the gross pay for both title 32 federal technician and mday pay?

To clarify, are you entering this information in your California state return? if so:

  1. M-Day Pay (National Guard/Reserve): If you were on active duty orders (even Title 32) for certain periods or if you were stationed outside of California, this income may be excludable from California tax. You would input the gross amount of the "military" portion as a subtraction.
  2. Federal Technician pay isn't military pay. It isn't entered as a subtraction in your California State Return.
