Time zone for turbotax time stamp
im in washington state but it time stamped my return 3 hours ahead? 4/19/17 12:42
The local time of your return is what controls the timeliness of your filing. So, as long as it was filed timely in your local time zone, then your return is on time. The transmission report is set to EST because of the location of the IRS office.
