The W4 form, that my employer provides, has changed since I last touched it in 1999. With changing income, life events (married, kids), can you run through the basics of what one needs to have figured out (income, dependents, etc.) when you do the W
It has been a long time since I filled out the W4 (1999). It was intimidating when I went to my employer's electronic form to update my W4. It did provide a reference to the IRS website to help me, but I did not go there. Starting with the basics, what do I need to have at the ready to update my W4?
