Question

The IRS website says my 2020 return hasn’t been processed, to call them at 800-829-0582, extension 623. Should I call them? Or should I let the turbo tax team do that?

You should call them ... TT cannot do it for you.

Thanks. The line was just automated saying it still hasn’t been processed and there’s no one available to talk to due to high call volumes. Guess they’re still working through the back log due to covid (I filed in May, and I think they might still be working April returns).

Try at 7am your time ... early in the day works best.  And yes they still have millions of unprocessed 2020 returns in the hopper.
