As stated, I filed my 2021 taxes but when I checked the mail after I got home I received Letter 6475. Letters like this is new to me and according to what I researched, I can claim more money with this letter. However I already filed my taxes for this year. So what am I supposed to do with this?

F.Y.I. I already received my 3rd Stimulus check last year in case anyone asks.

The letter 6475 says how much stimulus your received. If you did not receive $1400 per person listed on your return, then you would qualify for additional money. If so, you will want to amend.

You  can e-file an amended return as soon as the original return is completely finished- all payments have cleared the banks, E-filing will shorten the refund delay. Please:

This is in regards to the third installment correct? I only received two and then got the 1400 deducted from my return this year so I'm trying to get that money back

Please clarify your question.   You received two letters.  How did you file?  How many dependents did you claim?   Not sure what money you are trying to get back.  The letter tells you what the IRS paid you.   You were to get $1,400 for yourself, your spouse (if married), and for each dependent.

IRS will automatically correct it. If you amend it will delay refund for up to 10 weeks
