I received a check from a Qualified Settlement Fund.  I believe this is reported on line 8z of Form 1040, Schedule 1, as "Other Income". Is this correct???

Before you enter anything you first need to make certain that the amount received from the QSF was taxable.  Some lawsuit proceeds are not taxable.  Consult with the attorneys that are distributing the funds to make certain they are taxable.

If they are taxable then entering them as "other income" on line 8z is correct.
