So I received workman's compensation through my employers workman's compensation insurance company. They sent my a 1099-MISC. I have read that it is not taxable. Is this correct?

If none of your Workers’ Compensation income was considered a substitute for Social Security income, then it would not be taxable or reportable,

What box on the 1099-MISC is the income designated?
