Question

Should I have been asked questions about my husbands income when filing married jointly or should he go on his own account and enter his information?

We are filing jointly for the first time. I changed my filing status and entered my income information it asked for my husband's 2022 AGI but never for his income info from his w2's. My federal and state taxes were both accepted. Does my husband now go on his own account and enter his own info or did I do something wrong and I should have entered his info when I filed mine.

Wish you would have asked this before you filed.   When you file a joint return, ALL of your combined income and ALL of your combined information for both spouses has to go on the ONE joint tax return.  Yes, you should have included your spouse's income.    Now you will have to wait for the IRS to process the return you filed and amend it to include all of your spouse's income.     Do not try to change anything until the returns have been fully processed.

By fully processed what do you mean? I did get a notification from both federal and state saying they were accepted. Am I now able to move forward woth the ammendment?

"Accepted" only means the IRS has your return.  Processing it and issuing your refund come later.  Fully processed means the IRS has finished with it and issued your refund.
