Screen goes blank when entering income

Not able to enter income because the screen goes blank. I am using the Turbo Tax CD. I have tried to contact Turbo Tax but cannot get through to customer service.  Numerous calls, only recordings. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, how did you solve it? Would appreciate any help. Thanks

    Are you using the TurboTax desktop editions for Windows or for a Mac?

    Try this procedure -

     

    Save your tax return and close the TurboTax program

    Right click on the TurboTax icon

    Click on Properties

    Click on the Compatibility tab

    Check the box Run this program as an administrator

    Click on Apply and OK

    Start the TurboTax program again and see if the problem persists.
