reporting income from executing a will -- where on turbotax deluxe?

Hi, I can't figure out where to report extra income that isn't covered in the topics listed in turbotax Deluxe. The IRS says to report income from managing an estate/will on 1099, schedule 1, page 2 . Turbotax Deluxe doesn't seem to have any flexibility despite its increased cost this year.

If you do not have the income reported on a 1099, you can use these steps to include it as part of your taxable income.

    • Go to the Income section of your return
    • Scroll to the Less Common Income category
    • Click Start or Update beside Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C
    • Scroll to the bottom of that section and click Start or Update beside Other reportable income
    • Answer Yes
    • Enter your description for the income you received and amount for the income you received

The end result is that the income you entered will be shown on Form 1040 Schedule 1 line 8z.  Entering it in this manner will not subject it to self-employment tax.

I'm going to answer my own question, in case someone else has a similar question. Looks like its under Wages. A 2021 comment said to choose "I want to choose what I work on";  then go to 1099 MISC. , for which I'll have  to get a form from the estate. Since I'm the executor, hopefully I can figure that out without a lawyer.

The tricky part is to not let it show as "self employment" in turbotax. I haven't figured that out yet, but maybe the 2025 version has taken care of that already.
