Reject Code F8962-322 Multiple Rejections no matter what is tried
I have tried every suggestion and it is still being rejected by the IRS. This may have to do with the fact that the 1095-A has '0' in column A (Monthly Enrollment Premiums) and '0' in column B (SLCSP) but a value in column C (APTC).
Or the functionality with Alternative Calculation for Marriage along with the issue noted above. My son and his wife got married in Feb 2025 which is the same month her marketplace insurance lapsed (hence the 0 in columns A & B of the 1095A). She was unemployed and couldn't afford her payment, but following them getting married she was added to his employer's insurance plan.
1) The state of CT's marketplace program does NOT have a calculator to determine what the SLCSP "should be" for February (column B). We called and they couldn't help at all and said "the 1095A is right". I proceeded to place the same $ from JAN column B into FEB column B as a last ditch effort but the return was still rejected yet again.
2) She didn't pay anything for FEB 2025 (column A) so that amount is really $0. This means there is nothing I can do about that with the input into the software.
I have used TT for almost 20 years and have NEVER had an issue. Anyone out there with some suggestions I'd be greatly appreciative. Last thing I want is for the kids to have to pay a company hundreds of dollars to do there taxes that I've done every years since my son was 16 yo.
