When Married Filing Jointly, both of your incomes are combined to arrive at your Adjusted Gross Income which may increase your tax liability, depending on your tax bracket.  You may need to adjust your payroll withholdings.

The following Tax Withholding Calculator may help you decide if you need to change your withholdings.
