Question about Turbotax Premeire

I have signed for a desktop Turbotax premeir for the next year.

I need CPA help in checking my tax return. Can I get it with the Advantage plan?

If not, can I upgrade to Turbotax Live? Can they cancel my earlier purchase and do this?

If I do so, how much does it cost approximately to do my Federal and how much extra for each state? (It says $89 0 210 and each state is extra, which does not tell me much)

Please repond and do not refer me to TT suppport.

The online "Live" versions of TurboTax include tax expert help from CPA's or enrolled agents. The CD/download (desktop) software does not include that help, and no, you cannot pay an extra fee to receive it. The Advantage Plan is a plan that lets you pre-order the desktop software--it does not include "expert" tax help.

If you think you prefer to use "Live" then you should cancel the Advantage desktop order and wait for the 2024 online software and choose a version of "Live."

@sskale1 Oh----they must be doing something new----there is a $50 extra fee you can pay to include "Live" help with desktop if you are an Advantage member.

As for pricing-----that will depend on several things, including whether you choose Live Assisted or Full Service Live software. If you were planning to use desktop Premier, you likely need online Premium. When you use online software, you pay one fee for EACH federal return and a fee for EACH state program. State fees can be $59 or $69 per return. The fees include e-filing.
