Prepaid Tax Audit Defense

Why does the 2021 TurboTax Software keeps on asking to pay for tax Audit Defense that has been prepaid on line or by telephone? This will not allow me to proceed and e-file my taxes. Please let me know how to get around that?

To clarify, you have already purchased Audit Defense for 2021 and the system is not recognizing this?

That's correct. I paid off line for Tax Audit Defense, but Turbo Tax did not acknowledge it even though the transaction was posted to my account.

Did you select Add Audit Defense to My Order in the File section of the program? All you needed to do is click on the button labeled Continue to Not select Audit Defense.

If Audit Defense is on your order then click on Remove

If you purchased Audit Defense directly from the Tax Audit website, your downloaded TurboTax program will not be able to detect it. You can follow the steps provided by @DoninGA above to bypass the offer and continue to file your tax return.
