Only filing a 1099-INT this year?! HELP

I've been unemployed this entire tax year. The only thing I have is a 1099-INT with the amount in which one is required to report (I think I should be reporting it. I'm not sure. It's within $100-500). How should I file for ONLY a 1099-INT, without filing a 1040? I do not own a house or a car, if that's important information.

If you only received 1099-INT and do not meet the filing requirements, you do not need to file.

If you were single, you don't need to file a US tax return if all of the following are true for you:

  • Under age 65
  • Single
  • Don't have any special circumstances that require you to file (like self-employment income)
  • Earn less than $12,400 (which is the 2020 standard deduction for a single taxpayer)
