You only need to report the income earned in the non-resident state on that state return.

Here's How to File a Non-Resident State Return if you earned income in a state other than your Resident State.

If you received a taxable refund from the non-resident state in 2023 (reported on Form 1099-G AND you itemized deductions in 2022) , you would enter that amount under Taxable Refunds.

If you did not itemize in 2022, leave it blank.

This article provided more info on Taxable State Refunds.
