Question

On box 15 where it says to select a state, my state isn't on there, but I need to fill it out. What do I do?

My state is Tennessee, and it seems to be the only state to not pop up.

Level 15

Several states do not have a state income tax. So these states will not show up in certain drop down lists. Leave boxes 15, 16, and 17 blank when you enter a W-2 for these states.

Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington and Wyoming

So even though there are numbers on my W-2 for that section, I would leave that whole part blank since I’m in Tennessee?
