Ok I’m head of household It’s only me and make under $40,000 a year I always receive a refund but yet this year when I finish they say I owe them

The best way to see how your tax refund was calculated is to look at the forms.  Notice your taxable income on line 15 and the tax for that on line 17.  Then any credits you were eligible for, followed by the withholding from your paychecks throughout the year on line 25. 

Here is how to see the forms in TurboTax online if you have not filed yet.

3. Click "View Tax Summary"
4. Click "Preview My 1040" in the left hand menu

What you have some control over is the withholding amounts.  If you want a bigger refund at the year end, then you need to file a new form W4 with your employer to withhold more.  That means smaller paychecks during the year. 

If smaller refunds or even paying a little at year end is ok, then you will have bigger paychecks throughout the year.

Here is a calculator to help you set your W4 withholdings at a level that is best for you considering paycheck size and year end refund size.  

It sounds like you might be confused about filing as Head of Household.   You say "it's only me"   ---- if you do not have a qualified dependent that you are supporting you cannot file as head of household.  You file as Single.

If you qualify as Head of Household, when you enter your filing status (single or married filing separately) into MyInfo, and then enter your qualifying dependent, TurboTax will offer HOH as your filing status.

You also mentioned someone named "Vincent" though---so who is Vincent and why do you say you owe money to Vincent?   What does that have to do with your tax return?

We cannot see your tax return so we do not know what income you entered or whether you owe or are getting a refund.   Did you use the recovery rebate credit in the Federal Review section to enter the stimulus money that you have received so far?   If you did not receive both stimulus checks already then you should see the amount you can still get on line 30 of your Form 1040.

If you are getting a tax refund for 2020 it will be on line 34 of your Form 1040.   If you owe federal tax for 2020 it will be on line 37 of that form.

As for the 3rd stimulus check---that is not going to show up on your 2020 tax return form.  You can check the IRS site to see about your 3rd stimulus check:

If you already e-filed your 2020 return and you are waiting for your return to be processed---if you are getting a refund it will be shown on the IRS refund site.

TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer.  “21 days”  is not a promise from TurboTax or the IRS.   Many refunds are taking longer during the pandemic.  The IRS is backlogged —-they are still trying to process millions of 2019 returns; they received millions of e-filed on the day they opened for 2020 returns, and now they are burdened with sending out another round of stimulus checks.   

Some delays are resulting from incorrect amounts that folks entered for stimulus checks they received.   Many people have been confused by the recovery rebate credit and completed it incorrectly.  The IRS may delay your refund while they cross-check to see what you received.

First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

If you actually owe federal or state tax for 2020 you need to pay by April 15, 2021.

 If you have federal tax due you can pay by mailing your payment with the 1040V voucher, (which has the address printed on it, having the payment taken out of a designated bank account, or you can pay directly on the IRS website.
