Need Review Won't Go Away

The Business Income and Expenses section keeps saying "Needs Review".  I have gone through each section multiple times- even if there isn't anything to add.  I have double checked all the info from the 1099-NEC is correct.  When I get to the end to review the federal tax return it says everything is all good.  Which is it? All good or needing review?  So frustrated.

Even if I'm not using a browser based version?  I downloaded it to the computer...

You can click on Done or Continue to move to the next section.   The Needs Review message will not prevent e-filing.  If your return has errors that prevent e-filing, TurboTax will highlight the errors when you do the Complete Check (federal and state final review) before going through the final filing steps.

Yep, I posted this a few days ago - I've been getting it as well no matter how many times I go over everything!! I've checked everything multiple times.

Everything is correct and when TT checks everything at the end, it even says everything is correct and my taxes are ready to file.

I'm afraid next year though,  when I try transfer everything over, there will be an issue.

Turbo Tax needs to fix this, it's a TT bug!

I'm getting the same error on the desktop version of TT. Although it may not be a problem to file this year, I'd like to be able to see the actual $ amount for 2024 when I import the file next year...

I too am getting this 'needs review' message under the Business Income Section. I've noticed that if I go in and review each section, 1099-Misc Income "yes" is checked by default

and if I change it to "no" and continue, when I go back again, it's still showing 'yes'.  I wonder if this is causing the 'needs review' error. i.e., if 'yes' was true then there would be additional information required to be entered. The final review shows no errors, I however don't feel confident efiling with a known "glitch" in the software. Who knows what other oversights there may be?

If TurboTax is not letting you continue, you can try the following:

Go out of your program and go back in.
Clear your cache and cookies.
Try a different Web Browser.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop make sure all updates have been run on your program. You can do this by clicking on "Online" in the black bar across the top of your TurboTax screen. And then select "Check for Updates".

If you have any additional questions or information regarding this please return to TurboTax Community and we would be glad to help.

March 6 here and I have "Needs Review" issues with my 1099-NEC.  5 forms came in from last year that "Needs Review" which is obvious because there was on entry for the amount.  I added the amount and the "needs review" was no longer on the 1099.  I deleted two that were not needed.  I then took pictures of 3 more and added them that way.  the first and third ones came up with "needs review", and checking there was nothing flagged, missing, or wrong.  I deleted the third one and and then the second one got the Needs Review added.  I delete both assume that TurboTax programers borked the import.  I hand typed them, and alas they all need review.

I don't care that I can file it anyway.  I pay for a tax program and if something this simple does not work -OR GET FIXED- how do I trust the program to do anything else correctly?
