My tax forms were e-filed with signature missing. What can be done?

Ugh. It's all very concerning. Using a service that guarantees accuracy yet doesn't alert a signature missing. I know I didn't e-sign or date but I created a pin years ago so I hope that to be my saving grace. Though I know I didn't enter it before sending. I did however enter my identification information to aid in the additional security. I got the confirmation stating my return was accepted. So who knows.

It shouldn't be concerning at all. As stated numerous times above you do not sign an e-filed return. There is no signature for an electronically filed return. You don't require a "saving grace" of any sort. (TurboTax often has the data necessary from the prior year if you e-filed then as well and doesn't require you to enter any more than necessary to complete the identification process.)

It can't be accepted if the criteria that equate to a signature are not there, so clearly your return met that criteria or the return would have been rejected.

When you e-file there is no physical "signature"---you sign electronically by entering your AGI or PIN. If you are asked someday for a signed copy (by a lender, etc.) you take out a pen and sign it next to the words Sign here.

I did not enter a PIN or AGI. Though I have set up a pin with the service. I've had one for several years. This is the first year I opted to pay using a credit card and not have it deducted out of return and that seemed to be the softwares only interest at the time. Once I paid to file I did not see the place to do the e-signature and date. Nor did I type in my pin but the next thing I know my forms were e-filed. I keep seeing comments that said this is not possible but it clearly is cause my forms were filed and accepted by the IRS already. I appreciate your response and if you have anything else to add I'd really appreciate it.

It's implausible that TurboTax would transmit an e-filed a tax return without it being electronically signed. It might be that you e-filed your tax return without providing the identity-protection PIN. That filing would have have been electronically signed using your e-signature PIN (possibly carried in from the previous year's TurboTax tax file used to begin the tax return in question) but the failure to provide the separate identity protection PIN would likely cause your tax return to be rejected.
