We should have gotten $3400. We got $1544.55. Less than half and a very weird amount.

Mine was wrong as well. We received $2900 instead of $3400. my wife and I filed jointly. We have 2 kids, 10 months old and 3 years old. Our adjusted gross income was just over $42k. I reviewed my tax return, and both kids were listed under my information but, for the EIC tax credit, I accidentally marked my younger son as “other dependent” instead of “child”. Because of this, I lost out on over $2800 in refund and the $500 in stimulus. I am in the process of requesting an amendment to my tax return but that takes time so I don’t know if I’ll ever get that $500 stimulus.

My husband and I only got $2140 and were due $3400.  We have 2 dependents and file married joint under $150k.  Should we expect additional monies coming??

Same issue! We were shorted one dependent born April 2019- we didn't file our 2019 taxes until April 2020 though so I assume they used the info from our 2018 return when we only had 2 kiddos.

We are a household of 4, 2 being dependents and we only got $2900. My son, who is 25 gets SSI and I file him as a dependent every year. We should have received something for him.

My check was wrong. I only received credit for one child. My oldest was 18 still living with me, my son was 17 and my daughter was 3 as of the first of the year. I am a single mom but couples are receiving more. I find something wrong with this

It's a huge bummer, but only dependents under age 16 qualified. My parents had one dependent child at home who was over 16 and did't get anything for her.

My hubby gets SSDI and VA dis. as well have a 6 y.o. We figured we'd get $2900 (since I and my son get money from SS for hubby being on SS).Well we got a direct dep. of only $1700. Normally we don't file taxes sowe haven't done any since 2017. I did make a few hundred in 2018 and was gonna try and file so hopefully I could get my 1200 from the stimulus I thought we'd get from his SS. I tried to use the non filers on IRS.gov but it just keeps rejecting it. I read that it says if you were married you should be filing w/your spouse but if he has already gotten his stimulus then how could I do that? I've tried just filing myself with the Non filers but as said -gets rejected saying my AGI isn't right. I know what it was so not sure why it says it is wrong. WISH there were some way to get help with all of this. Hate to miss out but still appreciative for what we did get already. Any one have any helpful tips? Thanks

My dad passed away in July, 2018.  My mom filed her taxes in 2018 but has not yet filed for 2019. The 2018 taxes stated my dad was deceased during the year.  Mom received her stimulus check today for $2400, not $1200. Now what does she do?

She keeps it- the IRS says there is no penalty or expectation of repayment for being overpaid.

Ours is wrong also. Filed jointly with one child (2 years old), made well below 150000. We should have got 2900, we got 1450. So 1200 for one adult and 250 for a child?? I’m so confused
