I had a child in June of 2019 and only Received $1,700 for myself and older child. I claimed both on my taxes, so i don’t understand how this got screwed up!!

Following this post because I am In the same boat. I have one child and he’s 1yrs old. I only got $1200 and I should’ve gotten $1700.

My stimulus amount is wrong. I filed with TurboTax but was required to mail the return it was mailed March 15. I think they used my higher 2018 return. I just retired in 2019

My stimulus check is wrong also! I only got $1700 and it should have been $2200. I have 2 sons and they only gave me the $500 for one of them. I can't find anyone to report this too and get it fixed! Where do we go?

We’re you able to figure it out? I have 2 defendants and they only have me 1,700$. I’m trying to see how I can get those extra 500$. Please help!

@Prince2 -

please look at the tax form tax was generated and where you child is listed. WAY OVER to the right is a box that is checked. What is the heading above the box that is checked? is it "child tax credit" or "other dependent tax credit"

if child tax credit, the IRS made a mistake

if 'other dependent tax credit' , there is something you did when you filled out the form that caused the $500 not to be paid. Respond back if this is the case and we can go from there.

how old are your children? any born in 2019? any over the age of 16?

Same here. We have 4 kids youngest being 4yrs old. Got 2600 and change. We made 158000 so should have only taken around 400 dollar hit for me and wife but get 2 grand for kids. Just under 4 grand is what we expected. Confused and no one to call on IRS website

I filed our 2019 tax return in March and have already received the refund. We were well below the threshold of $150,000 Married filing jointly but we only received $1398 with two dependents. I'm thankful for that but was expecting $3400. We did have a better year in 2018 but my wife no longer works.

Thoughts on if we will have to wait until next April?

I have the same issue. They didn't pay me for my 2 one year olds that were listed as dependents on 2018 and 2019.

My wife and I were shorted on ours, and I do not know who to call, they sent us 1400.00 and it should have been 2400.00 our household AGI IS under the 150000.00

Does anyone know who to call?
