My spouse (the child's father) is deceased. How do I answer the question, "Do you have an agreement with your child's other parent about who can claim him?"

    What filing status are you using?    In the year that your spouse passed away you can still file a joint return.   And then for the next two tax years  after that you can file as a qualified widow if you have a dependent child.    If it has been longer than that, you could be filing as Head of Household and you would not be getting that question.
