my school district is 5001 but it will not go though why is says its not the number

Austintown LSD #5001 (in Ohio) does not impose a School District (SD) Income Tax. You should not initiated a SD tax return, in the TT program. 

 

I'm not sure what you mean by "will not go though'.  If your SD does not have a tax, it doesn't matter what SD you enter in the residence section of the Ohio TT program. It's just used for statistics.  If you enter Mahoning county as your residence, you'll get Austintown as a choice.  If you live in a different county, probably not.
