Question

My return was rejected. I got a pin from the irs site and entered it and it was rejected again. So what is being asked for.

IP PIN to be exact.

Make sure you enter the 6digit IPPIN on the Federal "Other Tax Situations" page before starting thru the filing process

 

The final 5 digit PIN entered during the actual filing steps, is not the same thing.
