My return is being rejected because my AGI doesn’t match. I put the number from my paperwork and still doesn’t work

What is meant by "my paperwork?" Are you looking at the actual 2018 Form 1040, Line 7?

Also, if you filed your 2018 return real late in the year, such as mid-November 2019 or later, you would use an AGI of 0 instead.

some taxpayers who claim they are entering the correct AGI, still get rejected. you can call IRS to check

You should then be transferred to an agent, but there is likely to be a wait.

if you have previously registered with the IRS to access your tax information online. Then you can to IRS website and get your transcript which will have your AGI. If you are not registered, you probably can't do so because you need a prior year AGI to register.
