Question

My previous tax returns for the state of illinois was rejected. I want to refile it.

For 2025?   No one in the user forum can see the ejection code or rejection message you received that says why your IL return was rejected.   You can try to fix it and re-file it or you can print, sign and mail it to the state.   

 

If you are referring to an earlier "previous" return the only way to file a past year return is by mail.   E-filing is closed for all but 2025.
