Solved

My husbands info is on a 1099R instead of mine and I can't enter my name on it. I can't finish my taxes until this is cleared up. What do I do?

To edit who Form 1099-R belongs to, please review the following instructions:

  1. If you are using TurboTax Online, sign in to the appropriate TurboTax account and select Take me to my return. If you are using TurboTax CD/Download, open tax return.
  2. In the upper right corner, type "1099-r" in the Search/Find/Search Topics (upper middle for Mac) box and then select the "Jump to" link in the search results (no "Jump to" link in Mac).
  3. On the Your 1099-R Entries screen, select Edit.
  4. On the Verify the Owner of This 1099-R screen, select the appropriate person for This Form 1099-R belongs to.

You may also delete and re-enter Form 1099-R:
