My husband and I live in Illinois, He owes back support from before me to his ex in Florida. I'm the only one working if i file injured spouse will i get my taxes back?
My husband and I live in Illinois we got married in March 2016 he owes back child support from his ex way before I came in the picture from 2001/02 he owes child support threw Florida. I am only one working he hasn't made a dime all year and his ex keeps telling me she will get my taxes even though he hasn't made anything I also am qualified for the child income credit for both my kids ,if I file injured spouse will she get my taxes? I'm very upset considering I made all the money and its from all my job nothing was contributed threw him. Everything he owes was incurred yeas before we meet and even married.
