My husband and are filing jointly and are confused on a question about someone else claiming us.

 We are both under 24. There is a question that says someone else can claim me- y/n and follows with this person will claim me- y/n.  Do I put yes someone can claim me but no they are not? Neither of our parents are claiming us, but because of our age and income they would be able to.

Since you are married and filing your own joint return, I would answer the first question as "no" and obviously disregard the second if it even shows up. I can understand your confusion though.

Thank you so much. At first I had it the other way, but then I did not think it made sense.
