Solved

My address changed in Jan. 2018. When filling out 2017 self-employment taxes, it asks what address I use for this side job. Do I use my current address or 2017 address?

I am filing taxes for both W2 (main source of income) and self-employment (very small side income). I'm asking in relation to the address used for my self-employment income. My current address (as of January 2018) is in a different state than my address for all of 2017.

You can use your previous address.  The only address that really matters is the address at the top of page one of your 040.  This is the address that the IRS will use if any correspondence will be mailed to you.
