Yes, you can claim your adult son as long as he meets the following requirements:
- He is not claimed as a dependent by someone else.
- He is a U.S. citizen, resident alien, national, or a Canadian or Mexican resident.
- He is not filing a joint return with their spouse.
- He lived with you the entire year.
- He made less than $4,150 in 2018.
- You provided more than half of their financial support.
