Question

My 2021 stimulus and 2022 payment amounts are complete different on the IRS website. Please Help ?

Can you clarify what you are referring to?  The 2021 stimulus payments happened in spring 2021 and the plus-up payments if you didn't get the entire amount then, were processed by the end of 2021.  There should not be any stimulus payments yet in 2022.

Did you enter the Stimulus payments you did get into your tax return?  Then if you didn't get the right full amount or qualify for more it will be added on line 30. 

It is not taxable and you aren't paying it back.  Your 2021 return starts out by assuming you didn't get any Stimulus payments so it gives you credit for the full amount and your refund was too high.  Then near the end you enter how much you actually got so it only gives you the difference if any.  So you don't get it again.

Ahh, yes I meant 2021 not 2022. I checked into it, I entered everything it asked for properly. Thanks for responding.
