Question

My 2019 Tax Return was rejected saying that my 2018 AGI is wrong. When I look on my 2018 Turbo Tax on Line 7,it's the same amout that's rejected,why???

Confirm that you are using the AGI figure on line 8b of the 2018 1040. Also confirm that rounding didn't change the figure by $1. Otherwise, not sure what would be the issue.

Level 12

If your 2018 AGI is correct, you will have no choice but to File a Paper Return. It is some kind of data mis-match at the government that is not allowing you to file your return electronically.

If you used TurboTax last year you can view your 2018 AGI by selecting Documents on the left hand side of your screen. Select View Documents from: Select 2018 on the drop down menu.

You can obtain a copy of last year's tax transcript online using IRS link: Transcript

OR

If you have a copy of your 2018 tax return, your AGI is located on line 7.
