Missing Data in transferring 2024Tax file to a new 2025Tax file
For many years I've been using TurboTax desktop application, and every year I've transferred data from the previous year file to the new year file... However, this year after installing the new TurboTax 2025 Premier and transferring the data from my 2024 tax file, I've noticed that some data is missing and it's not properly transferred to the 2025 tax file, particularly some income data and carry over data. Once I've noticed the issue, I've tried to start a new return using backup files of my 2024 tax file to be transferred to a new 2025 tax file, but the issue remains the same. I'd even opened the TurboTax 2024 application to see if the 2024 tax file data was all correct and properly saved, and all data was correct as it was filed. Therefore, something is not working, and the 2024 tax file data has not been properly transferred to a new 2025 tax file using the new desktop 2025 Turbo Tax Premier application. Appreciate any help to get this issue addressed and to have this transfer process properly working again.
