Line 17 tax but no schedule 2 line 3 amount

Using Turbotax to prepare a 2022 individual return. Very basic - W-2, interest income, itemizes with home mort int, prop taxes. No AMT and no 1095-A. Turbotax has $10,000 tax on Form 1040 line 17 which notes it is from Schedule 2, line 3. There is no Schedule 2. How to I make this $10,000 tax error go away?

@Lgeorge916 - Line 3 sums line1 and line 2.

Line 1 is AMT tax

Line 2 is repayment of premium tax credit -

suggest going back to everything you entered. Does the income and tax you owe appear reasonable (other than the $10,000).

Is your income high enough that AMT kicks in? how do you know there is no AMT?

Thanks. I did already go back over everything, and even marked no AMT rather than let TurboTax decide that. Either way there were never any AMT forms produced. Also, no PTC input and no related forms produced so that should not be calculating. It is a TurboTax issue as it is putting in this $10,000 but is not producing the Schedule 2 to support it. I am trying to avoid starting from scratch, but have run out of options. I have prepared other similar returns on this same program with no issue.

@Lgeorge916 Are you sure there is not a Schedule 2?

If using the TurboTax desktop editions click on Forms. Once in Forms mode see if there is a Schedule 2 listed on the left side of the screen.

If using the TurboTax online editions click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Then click on Preview my 1040. The Schedule 2 should be included in the 1040 Preview.
