I sold stocks and need to upload 1099B when do I do that?

Yes, please refer to the following information on how to upload a pdf of your 1099-B:

You can securely import your 1099-B, 1099-DIV, 1099-INT, 1099-OID, or 1099-R into TurboTax if your broker or financial institution is on our list of TurboTax Import Partners. If they're not, you can upload your form from your computer or type it in yourself.

Here's how to import:

Sign in to TurboTax and open or continue your return.
Search for the name of your form (like 1099-B) and select the Jump to link in the search results.
Follow the screens and you’ll be able to import your form.

Tip: Be sure to select the right financial institution or brokerage from the list. For example, several participating partners' names start with First National Bank and if you select the wrong First National Bank, you won't be able to import.

You can import up to 1,500 transactions from your financial institution in TurboTax Online.

I am doing my 2021 taxes late, in December using Turbotax. Usually, I just import the brokerage information using the import function but my broker has already removed the 2021 1099B and is in the process of moving to the 2022 form. Is there way to upload the 1099B PDF file from 2021, if I manually download it my broker's website?

@jyeh001 - you are presumably using the desktop version of TT, since the online version for 2021 is no longer available.

You just have to data enter the subtotals of each section; you do not have to enter every trade. I am assuming you are making no adjustments from what the broker reported. there is no way to 'upload' the PDF in the desktop version that I am aware of but simply entering the subtotals should go quite quickly.
