It is trying to force me to upgrade because it says I had misc taxable income but I only had W-2 income. How do I bypass this message and file?

Preview your 1040 to see if there is income other than your W2. 

Or click Federal

click Wages & Income

Scroll down the list and look for a 1099-MISC
