Is unclaimed property taxable as income on my state and federal income tax forms.
I did not receive any tax information from the state like a w2, just the check for the amount of the unclaimed property.
I wouldn't think you would have to claim it if you did not receive a 1099 form for the income. I wouldn't worry about it.
