Is there an additional fee to pay for turbo tax deluxe with refund?

Yes. If you choose to pay for a product out of your Federal refund, there is an additional service fee of 39.99 (44.99 for California filers where it is bundled with "Premium Services").
If you already chose that option and don't want it, you can remove it prior to filing, and then pay upfront with credit/debit card or a prepaid debit card you can buy in a store for a few bucks. Here's how to remove it, depending on your location:
