Question

Is 2025 tax year available on the Health coverage tax tool yet? I am trying to complete the Form 1095-A section and it only shows 2024 can be selected.

There is no mention of tax year 2024 when entering a Form 1095-A.  It is only for tax year 2025.

To enter, edit or delete your Form 1095-A -

  • Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
  • Click on Deductions and Credits
  • Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
  • Scroll down to Medical
  • On Affordable Care Act (Form 1095-A), click the start or update button

Or enter 1095-a in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to 1095-a

It's up. But you have to use incognito mode in Chrome (or presumably another browser you have never used before). 2025 will have its button appear. This trick to get it to show is pointed out in a Reddit thread here  https://www.reddit.com/r/tax/s/YG3tApp0SO

As of today, February 2nd, the tool on Healthcare.gov does now allow you to select 2025. I am using Chrome and didn't have to go to incognito mode.

For more information on Form 1095-A, please see this TurboTax tips article and this help article.

Not yet. The tax tool for the Single Lowest Cost Silver Plan was updated on January 19th of 2025 for 2024 SLCSP data. However, even as of January 27th, 2026, the tax tool is not yet showing numbers for 2025. We all anxiously await its update.
