I filed my 2020 taxes and signed up to have the tax payment taken from my account. It has been a week and IRS has not taken the money out.

Level 15

The direct debit will occur on or after the date you specified when you selected the direct debit option. If the amount owed has not been debited within 10 days after your return was accepted and/or the date of the debit, there is a phone number in the article below which you can call to follow-up with the IRS.
