IRS sent my stimulus check to Turbo Tax TT except it and put into someone else’s TurboTax account I don’t even have TurboTax?Go figure? Will I ever see my $1400?

How does TurboTax except a deposit “STIMULUS CHECK”from the IRS with my name and Social Security number and deposit into someone else’s account that I am not part of

    TT does not receive stimulus checks or refund checks.  If you asked to have TT fees deducted from your Federal income tax refund, it goes to a Third Party Bank first to do that, then on to you.  Or perhaps the IRS put your payment on a debit card, and the bank info is for the bank that issued that debit card.

     

    But $1400 is Stimulus #3.  This one comes directly to you, separately and automatically, not as part of your 2020 tax refund.  As indicated above, some of those are being sent out on debit cards, directly from the IRS. It has nothing to do with Turbotax.
