IRS has held my tax refund for 2021. I got the notice (CP05A) from IRS asking for three details for reviewing my tax return. I have first two. which is my payslips and detail about my employer.

I don't have information for  the 3rd question, Which I stated above. Appreciate contact, online link to get the detail.

Sounds like they want a copy of the 1099-R that you entered onto the return.

Thanks for the input Critter.

I checked my return, I have not added any 1099-R forms. In that case, what should I do?

Did you call the number on the notice and ask them how to handle this issue of a missing form?

Read the notice again carefully ... did they just  give a generic list of things to possibly send ?   If so send what you have ... read the info in the link I posted for IRS direct instructions.
