Independent or dependent? Am I being lied to?

I am 19 years old and I live in my sister's house. I pay her rent. She filed me in her taxes as a dependent. I asked her why is that because I myself made over 10k in wages last year and she says because she is the head of the household and that it is required for her to file me that way. Can i still file myself as independent? Is she supposed to file me or is she lying?

    IF you are not a full time student you cannot be her dependent and she cannot file as Head of Household.
