I worked the first 5 months of 2016 with an employer then went on my own I need to enter the income and taxes paid from my w2
You can enter both 1099 and W-2 in TurboTax Self-Employed. To do so;
- Log into your account.
- Select Federal Taxes at the top of the page.
- Then, select Income and Expense
- The screen that pops up - Lets Get Going On Your Income And Expenses; (screen shot below) is where you would begin to enter both your 1099 and W-2 one at a time. From here, follow the directions given to enter all your income and expense for your business and employee related position.
