TurboTax CD/Download Products all include five (5) free Federal e-filed returns.

If you purchased a bundled version with State, you also receive a free state download. You can file that state by mail for free.

Note that the purchase of a TurboTax for Desktop product does not cover the cost of using TurboTax Online.

I downloaded the cd paid for already and includes federal efile, but why seeing option to pay $119 to click & start Federal?

@jonathanhogan Did you make the mistake of using online software instead of the CD/download?

You should not be "logging on" to use the CD/download. If that is what you have been doing you have been using the wrong software.

You need to switch to the desktop software to get what you paid for. You have to download it, update it and open it up from your own hard drive to use it.
